Connecticut Software Startups (CTDEVSTARTUP)
Encouraging Software Developers to Start Up.

'Big Data' is here to stay and Hartford is the Insurance Capital of the World - if you can see the connection between the two then this group is for you.
This group is for software developers who are interested in launching or growing their startup company.
With the launch of the new Windows App Store by Microsoft, developers now have the opportunity to develop and sell their products directly to customers. Other companies have similar arrangements - Apple (iTunes app store) and Google (Play). The group's events are for both Microsoft and non-Microsoft platform developers who want to learn the best practices and business networking that will benefit their venture. These include customer development, business planning, lean methodogy, marketing and financing. Participation in events such as Startup Weekends are encouraged.
